Ellen Fowler Hummel is a Chicago-based writer specializing in creative nonfiction and the occasional personal essay. She co-founded mutterhood.com, an online literary magazine that features original writing and photography, and serves as managing editor.

Jump the Page is Ellen’s personal blog where she explores writing, reading and creativity, especially as they intersect with today’s tech-driven world. It’s also her author site, where she links to published stories and essays, and occasionally previews works in progress.
